Good Evening everyone! We’ve made it to November! The Month of the Thanksgiving Holiday, but more so as an opportunity to Thank the Lord for all of the Blessings and Opportunities that He’s granted us this year! Before we get going good, I want to make yall aware of a few things:
Next Week we will meet in the ROC for an awesome opportunity to put feet to all that we’ve been talking about! We’ll be working together to pack Christmas shoe boxes for our Operation Christmas Child effort. In case you don’t know, this is a ministry that ensures that children around the world get some sort of Christmas gift, but more importantly get to hear about Jesus as they receive it! So be sure to be in the ROC next wednesday night!
We will Not meet on the Wednesday night of Thanksgiving.
On December 7th, We’re gonna have our end of the Semester United INDE Christmas Party! It will be Christmas Themed, have a Tacky Christmas Sweater Contest, and more!
Keep an eye out on Social Media, and on Remind for more info!

Tonight, We continue looking into the Parables of Jesus! Go ahead and grab your Bibles, and turn with me to Mark 12.
While, you’re turning there, let me catch you up on a few things that have been happening in Jesus’ life. We’ve jumped ahead quite a bit from the Parable of the sower and the parable of the Kingdom of God.
Many of the miracles that you’ve heard of have already occurred. He’s walked on water, He’s calmed the storm, He’s healed multiple people, and even raised the dead. All of these things have take place, and yet we find Jesus still having to defend himself.
Just before our passage, a group of Religious leaders, even after seeing all of Jesus’ miracles, and having heard all of His divine teaching, still ask an incredibly proud question.
28 and they said to him, “By what authority are you doing these things, or who gave you this authority to do them?”
You see these were people who had a certain way of Life. A comfortable way of Life, and Jesus was messing it up for them.
It reminds me of most people that claim the name of Jesus here in the Bible belt. In Alabama, and even in marshal County.
They will claim to follow Jesus, until it comes into conflict with their way of life.
